Awakening the Goddess Within

Every culture throughout history has developed a relationship with Divine Archetypes who offer guidance for those of us walking this life’s path. Nurturing. Tender. Harsh. War-like. Erotic. Exotic. Compassionate. Inspiring. As the list of human experience is exhaustive, so is the list of Divine traits.
Rather than see these energies as external and removed, the true gift of working with them is to understand the underlying teaching and how we can tap into these energies to enliven our own lives. Seeing a reflection of the Divine Feminine within opens the path to self-acceptance and empowerment for women.
This course offers an overview of the main delineations of Divine Feminine (and Her relationship with the Divine Masculine) across history and cultures, presenting practical methods and meditative rituals for working with these energies. As you encounter and embrace these stories, reawaken and reclaim your Inner Divine.

goddess in hand
for Tiffany
Tiffany reads the passage
from Return of the Goddess
in her beautiful, tender voice,
the one where Esther
is astonished by the goddess
taken shape in her hands,
the one that ends with the taste
of her sudden tears.
we sit in the round red tent
with clay in our hands.
Tiffany plays soft music while
we work the clay and wait
for the goddess to make herself known
one more time
one more way.
my goddess has a vulva
for a heart, a clitoris
at her throat, a bird face
and wide wings with a tail for balance.
"listen," says Tiffany, "to what
your goddess wants to say."
my goddess says,
"so many women
have been born to me
through your heart,
your voice.”
I look around at the women
each one with a goddess
in her hand, made by hand.
no surprise: tears come,
I taste them.
